Summer Reading Reminders

Please read over the summer and bring in the first week of school the following books:
    1.  Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume
    2.  Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl

 Remeber to answer the journal questions for each of the books. They are on the journal page of this website. The journal questions are due on the first day of class. Please make sure that the two books are read during the summer. We will be doing a project on both books during the first two weeks of school.

Welcome 4th Graders and Parents!

My name is Mrs. Banuelos. I have been  teaching at St. Anthony School since 2006. Fourth grade is and exciting year. It is a year of many changes. You learn to be a more independent person and your opinions and thoughts count very much. We will learn many new and exciting things in fourth grade. Most importantly we learn about the history of our great state, California! You will continue to learn about multiplication and division and learn more complicated approaches to this. We will also learn about fractions. In science we will study ecosystems and how everything in our world has a part to play. These are just a few of the many interesting discoveries you will make during 4th grade at St. Anthony School. I look forward to helping all of you through your journies to becoming more caring, knowlegable and thoughful young people.
